B2B DIGITAL SPECIALIST

 

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: JBS USA Beef is searching for a digital expert to lead the creation, review and management of the data-synchronization process from JBS USA Beef to our customers, contributing to the success and speed-to-market of new and existing products. Tasks include gathering necessary attributes and data from various resources including SAP, Web DAM, Product Life Management (PLM) and others. This role requires ongoing communication internally with Marketing, Sales, Operations and Regulatory to ensure accurate data. You will lead established partnerships with leading Content Service Providers (CSPs) and PIMs like Syndigo, Salsify, 1WorldSync & GS1 to publish data and optimized content to digital catalogs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Syndicate product content and GDSN data to customers, including Sysco, US Foods, Performance Food Group (PFG), Gordon Food Service (GFS) and others.
  • Become an expert in the Global Synchronization Network (GDSN) process, including assigning UPC codes and publishing data to our customers through the Global Network.
  • Lead 1WorldSync, and Syndigo process, including data publication not limited to GDSN data, Marketing Content, Images, Nutritional Information, and more.
  • Receive and execute data-synchronization requests and questions from Sales Managers and clients.
  • Must ensure that all content updates are fully pushed out to each point of distribution.
  • Act as a business operations SME to influence, manage change, and educate about GDSN, with the goal of ensuring business commitments and objectives are met.
  • Own the reviewing and validation process for all digital shelf analysis reporting. 
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Familiar with managing the digital shelf tools, the process of optimizing content, and best practices in creating online merchandising, inclusive of PDP content fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of Foodservice, Retail, and Manufacturer product information management processes.
  • Experience gathering data from several systems, including SAP, PLM, etc.
  • 1-3 years’ experience using service providers, Syndigo, 1WorldSync, Salsify, or IX-ONE, preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ experience managing GDSN and GS1, preferred.
  • Certified project management professional (PMP) is a plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet navigation).
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Strong attention to detail with an eye on data integrity.
  • Strong business communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Skilled at managing competing priorities and effective conflict resolution.
  • Embody a can-do attitude and are willing to roll up your sleeves.
  • Passionate about creating processes and implementing new systems.

  • As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $60,000 - $75,000; and
  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
